I was the same, 14/7 so if I was staying the night where I fueled, I would put in 50gal when I pulled in and then fill it when I left. I also started to not fill the tanks so I had to stop more often without going away from my fuel solution.

TA/Petro is supposed to be 30 days and lately we've been using a lot more TAs. Love's you're lucky if they last five days.
-
Funny, I was just in a pissing contest on another thread, as another poster couldn't understand why Con-way Truckload paying/Reimbursing for showers was a benefit.
Saved me alot of time, just copied the link to this thread.
I usually try to park where I am going to fuel, that way when I start the day, I fuel up, and log pre-trip, fuel all in the same segment. Saves time on logs at the end of the week. -
Legally you are supposed to show fifteen minutes for fueling and fifteen separate minutes for either a pre-trip or post-trip. Not preaching, just pointing out a little detail. Personally I like to fuel in the evening since even if it takes half an hour to fuel I only have to show fifteen minutes.
-
This is why I use TA and Petro, showers stay on 10 days plus you get 2 towels without having to ask for a 2nd towel like at most of the others.
wowo6057 Thanks this. -
Yea I always try to use them before any other for all my stuff.

well since they put me on e-logs instead of a 15 minute minimum on fuel or checking in or out at a customer thier luck they get 10 minutes. its amazing how that time adds up. I just wish the new quallcom wouldnt go to sleep all the time its a major pita, when your trying to copy the load info and it goes to sleep. Does any one know if the unit is in sleep mode and you recieve a incoming messege, does it come back on by its self ???
-
Those times can run concurrent as one entry, unless your company requires it, you don't have to flag what those times are for, just implied.
With E-logs, you put yourself on-duty, and list what the task was.
Nowhere can I find where a specific time, or min or max time is required.
In times less than fifteen minutes, all that is required is to flag it.
With the advent of fuel and go, the actual fueling process can take as little as 5 minutes. Since the hood is opened anyhow, what better time to check things out.
Anyhow just my 2 cents, take it of leave it. -
Yeah, know the entering info, and the #### thing will shut off. arrgh. -
