The crazy thing is, the building at the one at x-16 on 285 is still there...they never pulled the tanks or tore down the building. They just use the lot for equipment storage.

I thought they closed that Pilot down because it was always causing traffic to back up on 285. They should probably close the one at Bouldercrest too. Never ever go into that one.

They did close it-the building is still standing though.

The one on Bouldercrest needs to have one of Pilot's yearly 'we need to remodel' fires.(at least 2 or 3 Flying Pilots have an accidental fire every year, usually the ones that need remodeled)...if that one burned to the ground, then they could use the insurance money to rebuild (somewhere else, because that place is an infested whorehouse)

Sounds like a crock to me.
There are a couple of large warehouse buildings nearby that are closer to 78 than the Pilot, and it's a fairly straight stretch of road.

Are they going to tear it all down to put in some S-curve in the road to make space for the railyard? I don't think so.

Not a crock. They are about to finish the widening of 78 to just south of the Pilots at Shelby. If you go through there, you know they have raised Holmes to an overpass plus, you've dealt with the mess for the last couple of years.

Next will be Shelby to Perkins. It was easier to take out that Pilot than Nike. They also are taking out the station on the SE corner of Shelby and Lamar.

They've been at it for awhile. Crow's moved, Tool Centrall was bought out of their location and they moved, etc.
