Meh. It's still a Denny's.

Something I've noticed of late at all PFJs: The cashier will ask if you have a rewards card, but they almost never ask if you want to use the points. They sure used to ask. Obviously trying to increase cash flow by reducing point redemption.
Gee....I wonder why......Blind Driver Thanks this. -
Hmmm....be careful. They may be thinking about stealing all the points to pay court costs
48Packard Thanks this. -
Having worked retail, I would absolutely bet my next months pay that this is a mandate by Knoxville made in the interest of increasing cash flow by, basically, hoping drivers reduce their points redemption.
-
They have still been asking me if I want to use them, and I usually do...in case P/FJ is gone soon.
-
They already did--when the did the Merger--obsoleted both cards and started new--gave u like a 2 week period to use up--trouble was they sent the letter home and I didnt get it till it was over--not like they couldnt have advertised at THEIR OWN truckstops so we could get a heads up--they made a fortune

Good riddance

We need more Wilcos
Tennesseahawk and Bovinemoovers Thank this. -
Wings truck stop as it USED to be called.
So far pfj hasn't messed it up . But im not holding my breath. They will most likely raise the rent on the restraint space so high, only a chian can afford to pay it, thus forcing out the ma and pa place, currently in there.
