Entitled is a strong word. Maybe its not a sense of entitlement as it is service. We are in the service industry. All EXPECT us to give them top service. Nothing wrong with EXPECTING the same from others now is there? Those r the ones that get my business. Mega t/s's want to move u along like cattle. In and get out, its in their design of the t/s.

I'd have a lot less problem with PEElot INC. if they'd 1) keep the places clean, 2) hire enough staff to actually be able to run the place (talk to the night staff about this sometime,) and 3) actually offer food choices that aren't essentially poison to human beings. Why do I write this last item? The food choices available at most PEElots are not healthy - we're talking about fat and additive laced fast food, fat and sugar laced snacks, and sodas full of high fructose corn syrup - a steady diet of this stuff leads you to type II diabetes. They closed down many of the restaurants in the Flying J chain, and replaced them with... fast food. They've gobbled-up many of the small independent truckstops - with good restaurants, and replaced them with the usual Subway. How many of those #### things can you eat in the course of a week without becoming sick of them?

Take Dodge City, KS. The Flying J restaurant wasn't just empty all of the time, the locals were in there constantly. It's on the outskirts of town, and many drivers are prohibited from bobtailing the 2 miles into the business center of Dodge City. Food choices? Flying J fast food... they didn't even put a Subway in. A lot of folks are stuck there a couple of days waiting on loads.

Gillette WY. Rip the restaurant out, and replace it with a Subway. Gee... that's now FOUR Subway outlets to serve a population of less than 2,000.

Frystown PA. Close the All American Pilot's restaurant, and replace it with a Huddle House. Now many folks may like the food there, but I can't digest that amount of grease.

The entire chain is a joke... and provides a crap product.

Trust me dude. I'd get in those tubs at the Little America Flagstaff sooner than I get in many tubs at 2+ star hotels. But I don't know what your saying. Showers, in truckstops, with their grout lines should be far more of a concern than tubs. Don't knock those shower/bath facilities until you've tried them.

Little America has always been first class, no matter which location. I've been dealing with them for over 30 years. Never been the cheapest, but always first class.

yeah..but just as fast as the pilot could clean it...the next round of slobs come in and dump garbage in parking lot...

it's a 2 way street...while pilot could do a whole lot more maintaining parking lot, these nasty slob drivers who dump anything & everything will continue doing what they've been doing...

Seems like the more trash cans they make available on the lot, the less of a problem they have. Sure some will always be pigs, but usually when there are plenty of trash cans, it's not too bad. Like the pilot in Rock Hill, SC. They have one can per every 3 trucks and the security guard empties them into his little golf-cart utility wagon.
