Is that one of the youtube bridges? =)

Don't know, I pulled this one from the Sacramento Bee newspaper. @ 14-1 it gets smacked quite often. Its about 30 miles west of me. Heres one from last year.

Hmm That seems kinda odd to me... That sign says 14ft, 1inch? How tall are shipping containers? I have had several delivered to me on flatbeds... never measured the height I guess... Makes me wonder if that sign is right? Guess it must be right, if it was wrong, they would have changed it after it got smacked!snowman_w900 Thanks this.

heh I guess I didn't read yours close enough, you said it was 14-1... I must be going blind. Is it usually containers hitting the bridge? Must have 24.5 tires, high 5th wheels, and dunnage!
So... Do people not check their height? Or do they not pay attention to signs? Or... a combination of both!truckdad and snowman_w900 Thank this. -
It comes down to laziness.

Okay, I'm trying not to beat the dead horse here... but sometimes I have issues walking away! The picture of the curtainside (or whatever you call them), looks to be a factory built unit. How tall are they? Can you get them in different heights? I've never been around a curtainside or a van, that was over Minnesota's limit of 13'6. I assumed that they were all the same...
