The beam is even with the back of the trailer or kaybe a foot back. I loved that little three axle dolly, you could tuck it up under the beam to keep the overall length down.

It gets difficult when your pilot asks a question and you are steering in each hand and sometimes shifting and now the idiot wants you to answer them. Then you have the pilots that will not shut up and break your concentration. Hate that worse than anything.

What I hate is they park in exactly the spot I need to be. Like on your right turn with the beam, they will do the centerline thing 25 ft from the intersection.

My biggest pet peeve like cnsper said is pilots talking to much. I don't want to know what you did last week, how annoying your kids are blah blah blah. So don't do that if you become a pilot!

I always tell my escorts, I don't talk much unless I need something, I'm not going to 10-4 to everything you say, unless it pertains to the load &/or movement of the load I don't want to hear about it until we are parked for the night & unless it is truly interesting, educational or funny I'm probably not interested in hearing it then either.

And see, I'm the opposite. Now, granted, I don't run super loads, which would obviously require more attention, but I don't mind #### chatting with an escort while we're riding down the road. Once I'm parked though, it's time for me to go into solitude, relax, and wind down.
