    Yes and no. Your warranty is only void if the change you make causes the problem. If you put a big turbo on and blow a head gasket, you're at fault. If you spin a bearing it's pretty hard for them to pin that on the turbo. They might try to void it to get out of paying, and I'm sure they get away with it all the time, but legally they can't.
