Company I work for provides power only to a company that fills compressed gas cylinders. We haul non flammable always and flammable and/or oxygen. We haul these on the customers modified flatbeds that have 2 flip placards on each side. I run a non flammable gas placard on one and a flammable gas if I have both flammable and oxygen. But if I have just oxygen I run the oxygen placard. But everyone at this company is telling me I don't need the oxygen just flammable gas when I am hauling either flammable gas or oxygen. They only run oxygen on their bulk oxygen truck. So who is right in this case? I realize I could run dangerous for the non flammable and flammable but that's not one of the placards this trailer has

Years ago, the safety dept. told us, when in doubt, "Dangerous" covers everything. Including a guaranteed stop by a trooper. Years ago, when hauling rail cans maybe couple hundred miles at most, we'd wait until we got to the rail to post the trailers. The way we figured, better to blend in than stick out like a sore thumb. I don't recommend that today.
