Yup, our company just recently had a driver that had a car trying to stop him on the road by flashing their lights etc... He pulled into a well lighted public area of a Truck Stop and POOF they disappeared... Their goal?

Just picked up a load of iso container liquor out of NJ, paperwork from shipper gives an exemption for a permit for liquor, I found that to be odd, but I've been hauling hazmat for over 30 years and the laws keep changing, I keep reading and learning. I wonder does this have to do with international shipments??

    Placards for drinking alcohol...

Hazardous Driver placard. If those existed, they would be on a lot of trucks probably.

    UN3065 - Alcoholic Beverages....it does exist...

used to dispatch (4) drivers dedicated to Union Carbide's "World Alcohol" and 190 proof and 200 proof 'pure' ethanol was placarded and a tax stamp varnished to the front head of the tankers that the customer would rip when the load was empty...each valve and flange was drilled for them top thread a brass wire through everything and seal it with a button seal too. the placards were class 3 but the un number was for ethanol....

    biggest customer was making Nyquil.....
