Planning to go OTR with boyfriend

The lady I mentioned above came away with me on a whim one day when I was offered that first trip to Italy. I have no idea how we arrived on time as the events in the cab were more akin to teenagers than 40 year olds.
She came with me on many trips, but eventually we got a flat (appartment) in Folkestone near to Dover port and never drove in England (tax dodge by a sailing close to the wind boss) but my money wasn't good enough so eventually she stayed behind and got a part time job but we lived happily there and elsewhere (including here in France) for almost 40 years 'till she died last year. Wouldn't have missed it for anything and we often reminisced of those days together on the road.
