Planning trips. How many loads ahead?

    If he's dispatching 22 trucks he's definitely not calling out on the load board to cover all of them. That's significantly more than a full time job's worth of work. I've known lots of trucking company guys who dispatch that many trucks, every last one had 75%+ of their loads prebooked every week with the same people as last week. Not a bad system if you have the relationships.

    Or he's just doing a seriously ####ty job for all 22 trucks. Could be that too lol.

    @boredsocial I think the prebooked loads with the same broker is the way to dispatch that many trucks. As you said, you have to build the relationship.
    Unless you have something that magically pulls out the best load, for a specific haul, and you could save a lot of time.
