I’ve purchased trucks in PA, WV, and MT and let the insurance know what I was buying and drove them home. PA and WV were bought from private sellers so I ran them home with a bill of sale.

Well i tried to rent one but didn't have business credit and anyone else who'd rent to me had a high price when I only need for two to 4 days.

When buying from a private seller wouldn't you still want to insure it on the trip home?

I always had insurance, never worried about a temp tag or trip permits or any of that. Just drove them home.wis bang, wore out, Rideandrepair and 3 others Thank this.

Well thanks again guys got the truck home now issues no plates. Even called 3 of the states I'd be traveling through to confirm it was okay.
