I had a 360 in my truck along with tv and fridge. Never tried to go online but I'm sure you could.

I have both at home, if I were to take one on the road it would be the ps3. That's just a preference, since ps3 does blu-ray. Before my house had Internet i used the ps3 w/ the phone. It works, but it eats the data up so if your plan is limited watch that.
