Hello i live in nc. My husband lives on the road. i was looking to help him find a better company to work for. His records are clean all of then. He just don't want to be gone two or three week at a time anymore. It don't help that I am having health issues.

Does he own his own truck? Find a construction company doing highway work, belly dumps, end dumps whatever. That's the best shot. I drove a dump truck for a small business owner who leased the truck on for city sewer lines and intrastate gas lines.
Intrastate hauling bulk cement and sack. Haul rock for quarries with a flatbed.
If he doesn't own his own truck, there are thousands of intrastate jobs usually in construction.
If he has tanker or hazmat endorsement and a really clean record, try the local propane delivery. Sometimes they need drivers. What about garbage truck or school bus? I never drove a bus because the freight breathes air..but it is good benefits but no good pay.
There are many jobs. Good Luck! -
