Shot and killed by a guy in a magic blue suit? No real reason. He just felt like it And suffers no consequences. 400-500 times per year.

Let’s not forget Civil Asset Forfeiture as police now steal more from Americans than burglars. Closing in on two billion dollars.

A job now dishonorable. A disgrace. Anyone says otherwise is full of it. Claiming as explanation, “a few bad apples”, went out the window miles back.

State-backed organized crime.

We are now a long ways from a society where a third of the way into the last century the highest court ruled not once, but twice that killing a government agent violating your God-given Rights was justifiable.

Arguing is no reason for an arrest. The public isn’t threatened by it.

The sole reason was the imposition of authority. And that’s enough to fire that imposter as he lacks even the tools of Barney Fife.

It just sounds like a felony, someone with a felony on their record, stop to me.

I know some guys that have a felony, and if they get pulled over for anything, there's basically two or more squad cars involved, and their vehicle is searched.

Traffic stop turns into a 45 minute ordeal.

I don't think I'd want to drive for Ridge though. Have a problem, you get it aired on TTR and cut loose lol.

I've run across a few DPS the last few years that have made me lose most of my respect for the law.

We live in a society now where everyone has to have or be the "best, ultimate, end all to be all" at whatever, that attitude and concept extends to the men in blue as well.

Many are also beaurocrats in uniform that would arrest their own mother rather risk their job.

this morning I got a call from a sheriff deputy in Ohio, who had one of my trucks sitting in a rest stop with the driver arrested. So at 2am, I had to call one of my drivers who is sleeping at home north of Detroit, go pick him up and go get the truck.

I won't post much about the details why the driver was arrested other than he was pulled over and he argued about being pulled over in the first place. He called the cop stupid, told the cop that he didn't do anything wrong and was in hurry, blah blah blah.

The cop got pissed off after 15 minutes of hearing my idiot driver going off in him, he just pulled him over because the trailer lights were blinking and there was an obvious problem that may be fixed quickly by cleaning the plug - that's what we did. He said to me that he wasn't going to issue a ticket, he knows the driver can't see the back of the trailer so he wanted to tell the driver what was going on,

The cop was patient and told the driver to let him speak, which the driver refused to do so the cop called for backup, was put in cuffs and then arrested for a few things that I won't mention.

I keep telling my drivers just don't argue with anyone when you get pulled over, I will back them and most of the time pay for the legal costs to get rid of the ticket if it isn't warranted. Speeding is an exception. But in this case this driver, he is still sitting in jail waiting for a hearing to set bail, and I won't go there to bail him out, and he knows it.

I just talked to his wife, she called me asking what happened, she said he can stay there, she isn't going to go get him.

Here is my dumb luck. My insurance cancelled me yesterday because a distracted driver slammed into the back of my trailer at a stop sign and instead of renewing the policy there canceling it.

The Border patrol has the authority to ask about a person’s citizenship status. You have to answer. If you don’t answer they have the right to detain you until they figure out who you are. This was already settled by the SCOTUS.

That’s the dumbest policy I’ve ever heard of. As if a non-citizen is going to say “No”. They should be doing an ID check at bare minimum.

typical truck stop lawyer...

i am sure he must have been fired....and hopefully was never able to find anymore employment.
