please explain in laymans terms how the points work on your CDL

    Trucking has a culture of functional literacy. Technically, people can read but it's widely viewed as a specialized skill only a few would ever attempt. "Normal people" are not expected to read so important info is spread by "cliff notes" highlights. Then there is the internet feature that makes 90% of questions consist of the same 5 questions over and over and over. If you've seen the TV commercial where one neighbor expects the other neighbor to do ALL the work finding the right contractor, do it fast, and cost nothing, you understand newbies want all info delivered on a platter instead of looking for it themselves.
