If you are going to be a michigan train owner, then I would suggest you get a job doing that and learn how it all works.

Don't worry about plans, don't worry about how much you make at first just go and learn that type of work and everything else will fall into place for you.

DO not plan on making a lot at first but also make sure you have good reserves in case the economy tanks again.

 

Probably not directly, just that the topic of cheap rates has been a sore point of contension for me these past few weeks. Been so mad a few times I just wanted to break something.

You can do that in most any industry but trucking. Gub'mint won't allow it. You cant work harder to get ahead because you run out of hours part way thru week #1 and have to sit around for at least a day and half twiddling your thumbs before you go do it again.

 

What? How can I be out of hours? I still have another log book with God as my co-driver.

Just kidding. But those who know.. well.. they know. Thats all I have to say about that.
