Have you looked at the rear off the gearbox?
Should see the speedsensor.
Warning
if you disconnect the speedsensor i would only use the gearbox in manual.
Not let it work in auto.

Maybe I am confused, because that is sometimes the case when you get older. But it appears that you have done about all you can with trying the battery disconnect reset. I would think that your next move is to get towed to a dealership. I would rather get that tow done, maybe tomorrow than wait until Tuesday. If you are lucky the dealership is near civilization which would afford you some better dining experiences. Just a suggestion.

I would disconnect #2 BUT be carefull.
I don't know how the computer will react.

If it is about no speedometer and manual shifting not the big deal. What did u mean about reaction of comp? Who ever tried or heard about speed sensor trick on dt12?daf105paccar Thanks this.

It might be the computer uses the speedsensor for the shifting.
