Hi folks,
Today two engine lights, stop eng and def blinking pops up on my Cascadia 2017 390k mi. Truck derated to 5mph. Stopped at the rest area. All dealerships are closed till Tuesday. Also i got SPN 520372/16 fmi 14. I am 250 mi away from home. I stuck somewhere between Detroit and Lansing MI.
Tried regen twice, nothing
Tried reset codes shutting power for 15min and codes are still there and I cannot move.
Anyone know how to bypass deration of engine and get home. Yes i know that need to tow it to stealership but everything is closed until Tuesday. Please, any ideas? And yes researched a lot but no clue what’s the problem is. Everything could be def pump, def crystalized, def dozer, nox, scr. But main point is can i reset anyhow stop eng light to continue to drive?

To my knowledge disconnecting the battery will do nothing those codes will be saved I have a international with a Cummings and I have insight so when I have a code I have to follow the procedure to reset it simply resetting some codes will do nothing they will come right back on some codes just need a test to be run and passed to be reset. I don’t know if you have a computer to plug into the truck but if you don’t I would say you don’t have a lot of hope but that doesn’t mean you have to get robbed do you have time to find the cheapest tow to the best place. Or find a local technician that will come out with a computer and diagnose the truck where it is at taking it to the dealership doesn’t always make sense most of the time they will hook it up outside anyways
