Without graduating from a school and not having experience, your best bet will probably be the big companies. Schneider, Knight/Squire, England, Swift, Stevens, Werner, etc etc. By the way I put those in the order of my top choice, my opinion if I were picking anyway.

If you have tanker/hazmat endorsements you won't have any problem making $1200.00 weekly and have good home time. Do you have those endorsements?

Take Chinatowns advice. He is a wealth of knowledge.
With tanker experience you will have your choice of companies to choose from when the oil boom returns. I wouldnt try for oilfield at the moment. You may get hired on but for low hours and unstable work.

If you can take your truck home it makes no difference at any company

Here's some companies that hire new cdl grads. No experience required even if the website has "xyz mos. experience required." You probably won't hear about these companies in cdl school.
Do the online applications then follow with a phone call in a couple of days. You can submit applications during the first week of cdl school.
