    Hi,
Apparently I sincerely need some help. Can anyone please tell me how to find a transporter other than U-Ship? Am I posting this request in a wrong section of this forum? I tried Flatloads - I'm waiting for their technical support to help me fix some technical glitch. I also tried two other internet recommended loadboards - DAT and Truckstop. Anyone here familiar with them? Actually I was told at Truckstop they have no Truck drivers able to transport this truck. How do they know the type of trailers or flat beds all their drivers have? Or is it because I'm not a billion dollar company they can't be bothered with me? I was willing to pay their subscription price, but they told me to go to U-Ship.
And how do I post the load on DAT? DAT would not allow me to post the load, and they would not refer me to anyone who could post on their board for me. So I don't know if they have any possible transporters. What is going on?? I used to think trucking was one of the last American businesses for the average American. . . but then again Budweiser used to be an American company for the average American until it went woke. How does the average person, who only has one shipment every few years and is not a multi-million dollar company have their things shipped?

I know when I pick up or deliver a load, I don't want to be bothered with politics.

I agree, I don't want to be bothered with politics either or be unreasonable or inflexible. That's why I'm trying to learn the respectable and proper way to request bids. I just want an easy transaction that's fair to everyone.
Perhaps the word (I just learned today) is hotshot trucking. Perhaps that's the word I should be using in my posted search here?
I also hope people feel free to contact me in private conversation for anything they might want to say to me but not post on a public forum. There I can give you my email address or phone number.
I am sincerely trying to do the right thing, and I'm still learning what that right way is.
    Thank you.

Since its going to california its going to have to be an emissions compliant truck . or someone willing to take the chance with an old truck... You are shipping it as a partial its going to be hard to find anybody to haul it... Im sure it will be easier to find transport by contacting a transport brokerage ... @singlescrewshaker offered to haul it for you earlier on in this thread. Maybe you can get in contact with him

    Thank you!
FWIW the truck is 18'6" end to end and 9 ft tall.
I don't know how I missed it, perhaps I was just looking for a reply in my conversation message box.
    I will contact him immediately.
Could you or someone please refer some transport brokerage companies you recommend I work with? Just reply in a private message if not allowed to post those recommendations in this public forum.
    Thank you.

No way I'm going to the commie in Peaches. Had I realized the destination, never would have offered. Not worth the risk..

What do you mean "commie in Peaches"? I never heard that phrase before. If you mean Comiefornia? Yes I understand. I've heard other people say they won't go into California because of the bureaucratic mess that is California. If that is what you mean by "commie in Peaches" perhaps we could arrange delivery to an address in Nevada? I'm just trying to be accommodating. I don't think I'm more than about 50 miles from Nevada. There are no weigh stations or inspection stations and only one produce bug inspection station between Nevada and my house. This is very rural cow country.
