The thought of moving to the Nevada desert isn't settling well with me. That puts me two hours farther away from the ocean.

LOL, no surfboard for me. Actually never even been swimming in the ocean. I visit the cold waters where very few swim.

 

base houseing was MCLB, apartment was on the san b side of town *( not the nicest , trust me)

as far as there rotton ronny's, never again.

my mom and sis came to visit me and my wife at the time we were on the marine base, took em to mickey'd, only for my sis to find out someone had already taken a bite out of her burger!!!

calico was neat, i seriously thought about buying the horse stable ( trail ride kinda deal) for awhile then realized i'd go broke in a hurry.

i did all the reminising i could stand about 8 months ago when i went thru on my way to la ( one of only 2 ca loads i have taken in the last year....it will be my last ever)


ive been to redding, sorry but i wasnt too impressed with the folks there either

Well thank you. I had better edit what I was just writing about Redding. Well anyway, Redding isn't my cup of tea either. Way too hot up there also.

 

How 'bout Susanville?

 

Susanville is tolerable. I'm just not a desert person. I almost moved there back in my previous life. It is just too big of a city for me. Some of the outlying areas up in the trees were nice. We were looking at Janesville to possibly move to.
