Yeah they do, some of them drive orange day cabs. "Dont worry about it guys I have time to make 4 placards."

Because I'm sure cops have xray vision and can see through trailers.

Maybe they do have xray vision. I don't know about you, but if I had xray vision I wouldn't be wasting in on trailers.

Which to go even more off topic, the whole xray vision thing makes no sense. How hot would it be to just look at girls bones all day?

Naw, you know they'll write it up for each placard so that 4 tickets for them not being straight and 4 for not leaving enough room. :)

Heck, given some of the folks out here, I'd just be glad if that was the right placards for the loads.... he's prolly hauling explosives....

I hauled this load this past week. It was 340 miles and the only two weigh stations along my route were closed. I remembered this thread while I was duct taping the twelve additional placards I didn't have holders for. I'm sure someone here will critique my handiwork.

Oddly enough, I had a single placard, explosive load the following day. Maybe I've filled my quota for a while.

Dang! I had never heard of the 3 inch rule. Seriously...

That is why, on containers, they put them 10 feet above the pavement.
