    Tough call. That's about the worst motor ever. If it were me I'd probably just delete the emissions junk and take my chances getting in trouble over it. That would be the cheapest way to get a reliable running truck again. The expensive way would be to let some shop bend you over the desk "fixing" it, then take a huge loss selling the truck and then another huge loss buying another one and hoping for better luck.

    its all fixed but I owe 25k on the truck. I bought it for 17k then the 11k fix.

    Next time your at a truck stop, pick up one of those magazines that are free by the door. If you look in the back section where the ads are, you'll see some ads for DPF delete and ECM re-calibration.
