It is kind of hard sometimes to tell how someone is meaning what they said, when all you have is text, to go by. It's totally different than when you talk face to face or even on the phone. Without the use of smilies, you don't know if someone is trying to be serious, funny (which my post was supposed to be,) poking fun, condescending, angry etc. It's why I use smilies as much as I do. A lot of what I post, I post trying to be humorous. I know I fall short of that goal a lot though.![]()
Please stop posting with titles that dont talk about your problem!

The title of this thread piqued my curiousity. I had to click on it to find out what question this new driver was asking.

Suddenly my one year of driving experience seems relevant. What's your question again?

I like the ones that use their screen name as the title.

He's talking about someone giving advice when there's no real experience from which to draw. Two years does not put you in a position to do much more than ask questions and listen, with the occasional thought offered from a different perspective. The inexperienced individual, no matter how quick a learner he/she is, is in no position to take on the role of trucking guru. Not saying the inexperienced individual has nothing to teach, but the inexperienced individual isn't going to teach much, regardless of the title given to the inexperienced individual by the employing mega-carrier.Tonythetruckerdude, G3Truks, About Time and 1 other person Thank this.
