LoL i know I said I was done, but clearly everyone doesn't get what I meant. I did not say i know more then all the 5 year drivers on here. I simply am saying, don't say i cant help out just because I only have 2 years. And yes, I do think i have as much knowledge of the industry as company driver that's been driving for 5 years. If you talk to me in person you'll know I know what i'm talking about, even though I am young. But, its not a competition, so stop making it one. We can all help each other out. I never meant to say i was better then anyone. Working may have been poor in my previos statement, but my point is not to say guys with 5 years are idiots and im better then them...the point is I have learned this industry pretty quick and should be on par with them. Im sick of you guys looking at me a rookie just because I've only been driving 2 years. I've trained other drivers, I own my own truck, and I haul the same freight as the rest of you veterans. Make fun all you want, but its just stupid to make fun of someone for trying to help.
PS
Vito, no hard feelings, the original comment was worded poorly and you guys took it differently from how I meant it,so you have the right to make fun of me.
Please stop posting with titles that dont talk about your problem!

No problem Richter. Yeah we are probably a little bored like someone said and we are probably making some hay, all in good sport, with you. It takes many types to make up a community. Have some fun and stay safe driver.

WOW!!!! Some real nasty people out here, maybe you should repost your original Post so some can re-read it. They didn't seem to get it the first time. Just saying............
-
Richter....i was called a rookie up into my 15th year......sorry honey.....dont take it personally.....
-
most of us are just joking.....you havent been here long enough to realize that...if we get mean and nasty..trust me, there will be no doubt.... -
Very nicely said and with respect and you even laugh at the beginning of your post.See that's not so hard is it Richter.People with 2 yrs 1 yr or 6 months,as long as they have a friendly an relaxed tone in their voice, people will hear what you have to say and some will follow your advice.
Giggles the Original and Big Don Thank this. -
Helping people is excellent...the industry needs more of that and not less.....I just have a little hesitation when you keep telling everyone how advanced you are and constantly qualifying your experience.
To be candid, if I may, 2 years in ANY industry is not much and especially in this one. So, all due respect, run a few Wyoming winters and a few trips to the valley loading 12 pick ups of produce and then give me a call....because now you are starting to sound like you are working way to hard to convince everyone.Giggles the Original, Big Don, Vito and 3 others Thank this. -
Now you get it......
-
12 pickups???? whose butt did you kiss to get off so easy??? LOL....back in the day........
i do have to say tho before they went to all this appt crap, you could get more pu's on then now
truckon Thanks this. -
Yup....even after all these years there are a few that still call me a rookie
Giggles the Original Thanks this.
