I was at this location

when I heard Jason with his four foot Firestik antenna at this location

Does anybody know of some software or a website where I can plot the geographic terrain between these two points to see altitude in between these two places?

Yes, google earth can provide you the points, you can map them out from there.

I stand corrected on the 80 mile trip to Harrisburg.

After seeing all this i long for the good old days where a man and his horse could navigate there own way round we're in a whole lot of trouble if the computers and www goes down.

This wasn't a physical trip but an electrical one. The point wasn't navigation but to show how many mountains my signal had to jump over to reach the guy at the other end.
