Yes, that is the one. One problem, if you are in there for 2 hours, it will cost you $15, and if you are in there for the weekend, it will cost you $15. Lady at the counter told me today that do not know how long you are parked there, but still need a token to get out of there once you are in. Security told me today of a place to park close to the DC, A Dunkin Doughnuts not far away that has a large lot. He said that you will find their trucks there all of the time.

For 2 or 3 hours they will let you park at the fuel island. I was there for 2 the other day.

Yes, I agree. I meant to say that if you think that you are going to be there awhile and you go inside that gate, then all of a sudden get a load within 2 hours, you are stuck for that $15. You can park at both of time for two hour before have to leave, on both sides of the street.

I got the word that I have been approved for re-hire by Swift. I will be returning to the carefree life of "driving the open road" in January. 50-100 hours with a mentor is required since I have been out of a truck for over 2 years. I am okay with that. Then test out and get my own truck. I will be out of the Decatur, GA terminal.

Thanks to Injun and several others for putting up with bothersome questions that I needed answers to before making this decision.

I guess soon enough I'll be finding out if Plus One is my friend or enemy. Hopefully some more of the bugs will be worked out of it by January. We shall see.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

    Injun Thanks this.

Casino's can get me in trouble, and end up costing me alot more than the $15 parking.

    Interesting...
Got 2 preplans. 2nd with a delivery window until 11:45.
Get an mt for the first, 1 hr, DM sends 2nd dispatch by mistake...
window pushed out to 13:00 on 2nd.
3 hrs to get the first load 'pickup-d/h' (not loaded yet.. so typical).
Get mt from the first. Get dispatched on the 2nd.
    Window pushed out to 19:00.
So it ADDED 7 hrs to my delivery window. Nice. Working ok there for a change.

    The bad:
In 1 year, I pushed my 11hr/14hr hos to within 20 min, by choice,
    because I knew I could make. It's something I DON'T make a habit of.

In the last 2 weeks, I've ran it down to 20 min FOUR TIMES, NOT BY CHOICE.
That #### is way too tight.
1 time in 1 year... 4 times in 2 weeks.
Company wide that = log violations, increased accidents, etc.
Had to sit at the terminal the other day (shop time).
Lot's of people 'threatening' to quit over +1.
