Well, I guess I don't have to wait to tell you the address. Please visit "112racing" above. Click on the http address he/she has on there, and you shall see the formulas used and the violations. PS my company used these same tables when trying to explain CSA 2010---it was unique because the consultant found the only page as an example, that showed a lot of N for driver responsibility---which gave a false sense of hope to drivers--I am for good drivers, I am just not for misinformation!!

Iron Pony ---are you out there!!!!

Do you know if these CSA 2010 regs have gone into effect yet, or are we still waiting for FMCSA to decide an effective date?
thx. -
The pilot program has been running in a number of states for a couple of years. For example, I come from Colorado which was one of the original pilot program states. So... have the "Point Gestapo" cracked down? No. At least from a driver's perspective I don't notice a difference in enforcement between Colorado and everywhere else; except maybe that the scales are always open. From the carriers perspective, yeah, things are different.
The full effect of CSA2010 has been delayed until at least November - I think that's correct. So, no it hasn't been rolled out yet - and may be delayed again.
OTOH, the PSP part of it - driver's scores - have been started. That data is now available to the carriers and the drivers. I hear it's a good idea to find out what the feds have on you, especially if a job change is in your future - but so is keeping an eye on your DAC file as well.
Heard today on one of the Roaddog shows, an interview with someone from Marten concerning hiring. Now the FMCSA says CSA2010 will have no impact on employment. Bull. The Marten guy said they are scrutinizing the driver scores before offering invitations to orientation. He also pointed out a weak spot in this whole little fiasco... no one really "knows" what these stupid scores mean. What if your score is 10. Is that bad? The Marten guy was saying that he had an exemplary driver candidate from everything he looked at, except CSA2010 scoring - the dude came in at 90, and they wouldn't offer him a spot at orientation because of it.
So yeah, CSA2010 is out there - according to the gov't its everybodies' buddy - and it's not in effect yet. Unless you're one of the folks stuck with the effects. That would be all of us. BOHICA. -
Guess what, I get to make a home cooked meal now--No Wendys, Arbys, Subway, McDonalds---cuz Trucker health is soo--oo important!! I guess I have no patience for the DAC report. My ex-son in law at the age of 21 had a job for Roehl, desk side--he thought it was a joke to say "whatever" about a driver. CSA 2010 will replace the DAC. Not into the personnal s
!!! Please refer bac to the Green Book!!!#

I am responding to PUMPKIN OVAL HEAD
I am looking at my personal profile, when I have been pulled over, etc. It doesn't start when and if they get iit together. It's already started, since in my case 07182008. -

When that Dot or State Patrol or Local yokel give me a ticket, do I truly know how this will be processed. NOOOOO!!I I think Iron Pony is like listening to your dad and mom when they "sacrificed" to walk to school, yet your mom and dad cam't shovel a driveway. Go Figure!!!!
