Doesn't anyone just read a book anymore?
-
Whatever happened to the good old days of the original geo-caching?
-
Is that like a pokestop? For example there is a pokestop near this customer and it's an elephant statue. Another one is the Walmart sign.

gillz107, WildTiger1990, sawmill and 4 others Thank this.

I'm a gamer from way back too, but this is a bit much...

Maybe. From https://www.geocaching.com/guide/

They want obscene amounts of money for user provided content. OK, maybe not obscene but it's still $30 a year for what in reality is just a website that other people have made popular.
-StevenSnailexpress Thanks this. -
Baaaah!!! Baaaah!!!
What a society of sheep we have today. I grew up in the middle of the original Pokemon fad. I never really got into it. Was more into playing outside back then.j_martell Thanks this. -
Not to toot my own horn here...well maybe a little... as a kid I alone took a 6 foot tall pile of dirt dug out for the family's new pool and in a calendar year turned it into a 4 foot hole in the ground.
with nothing more than a small fleet of Tonka toys, the real kind.. The kind you could leave out in the Texas Sun for a whole summer and not have them turn to dust when you go back to play with them.
I was as real as I could be, mouth engine noises and all, and absolutely no lifting the whole loader up to dump into the dump truck either...that was cheating.
So distressing that most kids today don't even know what a Tonka toy is...
and yes i'm sure you are wondering so ill answer it right now, I was the definition of a loner...
tommymonza, peterd, gillz107 and 2 others Thank this.
