I used to do the same thing with my truck until one day I had to go through the scale house in Riviera,TX and the inspector had me raise up the window.

Yeah, I know I plan to remove it on the front windows but I've been dragging my feet.Dadetrucking305 Thanks this.
-
I don't plan to remove it. They can hand me a razor blade and i still won't. It's not an oos. Fix it ticket at best. $50 in most jurisdictions if you fail to produce evidence you've corrected it.

Yeah, I'm not sure mine is even legal non DOT.. it's dark as hell. granted it is a white truck so any tint looks darker but I think it's too dark for even a normal car.
-
Lol. Ya you went dark. Mine matches the rear. Yours looks like limo tint!
-
It was on it when I got it, so not sure and I've never had limo tint before but i'm guessing this is it.. lol
-
that’s funny!
I actually got popped in that Lvl 1 for tint, didn’t scrape it off, got pulled over by Utah State Trooper a couple months later specifically for the tint. Luckily he was lenient and didn’t ticket me, he let me scrape it off before he let me go.
