get a cramp, and see which you choose..... soiling yourself, or using a bucket in the sleeper.
This isn't for everyday stuff, its for emergençies.
Unplanned sickness or food poisoning deals.

Solution " Adult Diapers " Just think, coast to coast with only fuel stops. A box of pampers says up to 18 lbs. :)

reminds me of that female astronaut drove from texas to florida to kill someone, or some strange story like that.
maybe a life could have been saved if she used a bucket instead of diapers?

I'm glad I found this thread! I have the same condition as Vanna White...Irritable Vowel Syndrome! :D Seriously, I can have intestinal issues on relatively short notice, so I appreciate the advice you guys are offering!

I carry a porta potty. It's priceless when you wake up in the middle of the night having to go or are sick and throwing up. It can happen to everyone and its just my personal preference as it also helps to keep odors down with the chemicals in it. Only use it for emergencies though and clean it out on hometime. The companies that don't allow it, I deal with that quite simply, I will not work for them.

I keep a few big Gatorade bottles in the truck if I know in running across an area with few rest areas or t/s for #1 which are then tightly capped and deposited in the nearest garbage can or dumpster, haven't had an issue with #2 yet, though I got food poisoning from the Roy Rogers on the free way, and that turned into me (a 350 lb trucker) running at a full on sprint to make the toilet, I think people got a laugh out of it or thought I was a mugger
