    Burn out?

Sometimes you have to make room. My 379 has little storage space. I plan to remove the upper bunk and the passenger storage shelves, then constructing my own storage system.

My refrigerator sits in the floor in front of my bed. Still have enough room to stand next to it and get dressed. I keep my fridge running 24/7. I have an APU and it keeps it charged. My fridge was about $120 at Walmart. #### a cooler, when a fridge cost just as much.

What kind of truck do you drive?

Compressors on average last 10 years. Longer than most drive. Let's put it that way. :)

You have to be creative and make room. My 387 if one looks the cabinets are made of individual walls. I took the door off and the wall behind the driver seat (like 10 screws). The wall by the bunk and the overhead cabinet remained in tack. I put my microwave on top of the fridge and strapped it all down. It was a great set up and looked good. Then when you leave you simply put the panel and door back on.

Amen on the dorm fridge, I went thru a bunch of 12 volt coolers that could have paid for a small gas genny before doing the fridge.

Exactly! After you buy about 3 coolers you start thinking! :)

I think all truck drivers go that route.

Yep, I know some trucks have no room for the dorm fridges and can understand that, but before I would ever purchase those 12 volt incinerators I would get a cooler and a bag of ice.

Here's where I store mine. It's the spot where the oem Volvo fridge was located. Plenty of airflow behind and some extra storage on top.

That looks good and plenty of room to put a 700-800 watt microwave on top of it.

My nuke box sets on top, got some velcro round tabs and stuck them under where the tiny places are on the micro wave, never has budged yet.
