Portable heater for sleeper

Camp heats work in an emergency, so does the little buddy heater that I carry for emergencies along with 4 1lb propane bottles in a drawer. I have a Chinese knock off diesel heater and has been great so far haven't needed the back up yet. Next year I will splurge on a webasto system and include the coolant heater for the engine and be set for cold weather

 

a good arctic rated sleeping bag and a good fleece cap u don't need a heater at all, some good long thermal underwear kept inside the sleeping bag will be warm too in the morning you can put on before getting out. if you keep your head warm that's the most important part.

i found these crazy socks at walmart that got the grippy bottoms, cascadia floor insulation is about as thick as a paper plate.



where i park away from home a lot has shore power and i tried a few little space heaters last (last last) year, the ceramic ones are the most powerful but idk what they do to the air but it had my lungs so jacked up after a few days, I think it dries the air out so much in a small space, plus the ceramic elements put off this weird chemical smell/taste that had me in a coughing fit for a week.

over christmas '22 in gary it was -10 for a good minute, one little ceramic space heater under the bunk kept it liveable, notwithstanding lung cancer, but my two 5 gallon water jugs in front of the passenger seat were two 40lb ice cubes lol, they froze solid

espar is really the best option for heat, it sips fuel and battery, annual maintenance is simple, for the price installed there's no better option, it's german engineering, last forever, hot AF if you want.
