You can buy noco from autoZone. O'Reilly might have em also.

Walmart has everstart. Noco. Schumacher and other brands.

    You can find anything anywhere.

The noco does say to wait 30 seconds before cranking.

I'd imagine any brand would be that way. Gives the batteries a chance to charge up before cranking.

    You need thick cables.

I'm surprised that device worked at all.

You get what you pay for.
    Temu, ebay.

The ones we have are the 10000 amp version. Same manufacturer. Bit pricier that 159. But they are sweeet.

So, having a lot of electrical experience, I can tell you that cheap@$$ Temu thing is designed for cars, not trucks. The contact plug is a light-weight unit, hooked to small-gauge wires. The battery is strangely over-sized for such a low amp rating, suggesting that this is not really meant for high-load jobs like jump-starting. Pushing the kind of amperage a 4-battery system a truck uses through those itty-bitty wires was always going to end in failure. You're lucky it didn't end up as a fire!

Noticing the box, it can handle 2,500A, fully 3 times that Temu thing had; this tells me that the wiring and connections are MUCH heavier and able to handle bigger jobs, especially high-load jobs like a jump-start. The 33,000 Joules battery (Joules and mAh are equivalent) is better than 50% more capacity, and the better wiring means you will get a really strong jump. The smaller one is built more for things like a camper to use for overnight power.

You get what you pay for....

I got one of these free with my purchase of the one below. They had a deal in Billings.

I'll add my pic in a minute of this one. A bit pricier is an understatement. But I wanted to make sure it would work.

I seriously don't have a use for this one? Maybe keep it in my car? I'd be willing to sell it? Haven't even opened the box.
If you want to check my story of this free with the other. Call Napa in Billings.
