So does anyone have anything to add about the OP's original question?

I don’t think any reputable company gives two ####s about a DAC report. I would try to have it removed but if it wasn’t I wouldn’t lose any sleep. Everyone knows Hireright is a joke in the industry.

With all due respect you can't say it is cut and dry. You were not privy to the minutia of the situation. I am not trying to belabor the point here. Because it is a very fine point all these new drivers must understand. Those comments are coming from the company's perspective. Honest people can disagree but DAC is not about disagreements. It is about reporting. If the company feels that any driver was assigned a dispatch and they balked at it and refused to haul said load it is quitting under dispatch. The correct solution to this is contact hireright and get a rebuttal in the comments. However unless the OP can present direct clear evidence the carrier acted unfairly i'm afraid that comment is there to stay. It stinks I know. I know several drivers with incorrect information entered into DAC. However none of them have been denied jobs because of it. In the end this is the most important thing. We drivers sometimes have to pick our battles, this is one most will lose. I see no use getting ulcers or heart burn over something that 4 or 5 years of hard running will cover up anyway. << that is the most important thing to remember.

By the way before this thread gets locked up. Quitting under dispatch is not a big thing to most carriers. I quit under dispatch once in the late 80s and again in the middle 90s. In the latter case in my interview I told the man what happened he said good enough when can you start? This subject is more about pride then anything else.
