Things seem to be going good for ya!! I see all the places you have been..but how many miles have you been averaging? How you been exceeding the weekly guarantee? How you had any problems getting the guarantee if your miles weren't there??

Also have you had any trouble getting funds for tolls?? Also is it true that mcleod has a deal with pilot to get discount so you don't get any reward points for like free showers or anything? Thanks!!!!!

I am one who doesnt rely on the weekly guarantee but rather on just plain ole hard work.. and if i get the gweekly guarantee then its a bonus a reckon..I usually bring home Net pay anywhere from $500 to $750...just depends on when i get my trips sent in.. to some people thats not alot but with my finances im just fine with that due to the fact im not in debt with no one. except tax man for property tax every year. Its pretty much what you make it here.... wine and complain and go no where or work hard and treat the trucks and trailers like their your own and do well....I had a fellow driver complaing about not getting miles ect ect ect.. and I noticed when he loaded out ahead of me he had a mudflap ripped off the trailer..well I was going to same place he was for the next day after he delivered.. well when i made my delivery that very same trailer still didnt have the mud flap fixed and he left it for another driver....no excuse for this ..he had several places to get it fixed and yet he wonders why he isnt getting the miles...hummmmm geeee attitude of the job. I mean really if he thinks this way of his fellow workers driving I can imagine what he thinks of the company who offered him employment... this is how he says thank you? please.

I have heard in past that drivers were not getting their driver points... I must of hired on after that..I have always gotten my driver points and my shower from pilots..matter of fact i got so many points i got the chrome eccessories for my truck to make it look pretty.lol...I usually get dvds for free from pilot but im totally done with that..I think I got like 260 dvds from pilot, big lots and the walmart $5 bends.lmao

thanks iceman..sorry it didnt work out for you. just to be fair alot of those poor souls you speak of bring it on them selves is what I see. You are right though..sometimes communication may not go the way drivers want ..we as drivers do have to work with the company to get the freight delivered or we will be out of bussiness and really crying to obama for a free handout. I did have a bad week.. I had truck in shop monday for oil change and fix apu.. well got it out of shop on tuesday and dispatch had load going to iowa for tuesday night,i knew if i took i would be stuck til thursday. So my apu was not totally working right (my fault for not checking it out b4 I left). so i had no ac ..got hotel room on 4th.of july.company is reinbursing me since i had no air and was laidover for holiday. and got a load comming right back to decatur to put truck back in shop..good news is apu is working normal and I got load going home for weekend..it will be small check this week i say around $450net. the heat this week was really freakin hot everywhere. hope everyone stayed cool...I really shouldnt let dispatch put pressure on me like that b4 i make sure truck is 100% but i knew time was ticking away for that load to deliver b4 they shut down for holiday. they do work with us drivers if drivers put in their loyalty to company and not ask for everything they(drivers) want and not give nothing back to company...whats that ole saying? what can u do for your country not what your country can do for you...lol hey everyone god bless and stay the heck cool..Im sooo ready for winter.

Been running alot of ohio to illinios freight..thats good for me.. hope everyone is doing well with the hot dry weather.. I know i am I havnt mowed the yard in over 6 weeks and looks like i might be done for the year..grass is in dormant stage. really no complaints i can come up with, just typical trucking stuff....

super short runs if u get into IL. no one ever answers the phone.. all i have t say is good luck and i would rather have been unemployed then work there.
