I have just under a year of experience. I worked for CRST for the first 3 months of my career and then Hogan for the rest of it. I quit Hogan due to a lack of trucks and the equipment was not reliable when you did have a truck. I am currently considering my options. I dont really want to go with a BIG company where im just a number but then again they can offer better equipment and have the freight to back it up. I am considering US Xpress, CFI/Conway Truckload, Gordon Trucking, Celadon or Prime. I would appreciate any info that would help me make the best informed decision. I would like to hear anything positive and negative about these companies. I have to make a decision really soon so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    BULLDOG

I am in training with US Xpress so not much experience on the road yet. I have, however, talked to a lot of current USX drivers out on the road. I think the general consensus is that USX is a good company. Most of the drivers I have talked to have been with the company for a number of years. As I am sure you are aware, happiness has a lot to do with your Fleet Manager and that is just a crap shoot. From an equipment standpoint, it is good and a newer fleet. I hope you get info from more experienced drivers but I thought I would get the ball rolling.
