remember joeT according to you chest and her nutball half wit husband teaches you that its not rocket science when it comes to shifting a truck... take their easy way out and when you cant shift and go to a company with a manual trans you can tell them its not rocket science and maybe they will still hire you anyway.... you have a better chance to win the lottery without paying for a ticket....

those drivers who went and were at us xpress for how many years that left went to companies that had manual and couldnt shift and they couldnt find a job cause they couldnt shift ... but you tkae that short cut since you think 250.00 and 3 to 5 days with chesty and her husband will get you on the road ...

by the way people here is the video that made joeT decide that this trucking school is the best ....

Don't know that I'd say the best, just one option, but you guys have convinced me, the full length trucking school is the way to go, thanks! I'd better go get to work so I can save up some money!

You gotta do what you gotta do. Speaking for myself, I was at a point in my life where I had to make a change and make it now. Former construction worker with no work, now making just over minimum wage, just wasn't cutting it! Like you, I didn't have much to work with so I did lots of research, found the best school in my area, and sold my car to pay the tuition... I'm gonna be on the road most of the time anyway so what do I need a car for? sit there and look pretty?? nah, there will be time to buy another set of wheels later down the road, for me it's time to get to work.

How many times does it have to be said to you that you dont have to spend alot of money to get your cdl..... most (myself included) are just saying that that your big chested girl you decided to put so much emphasis on is a BAD IDEA!

All you need to do is figure out if trucking is really what you want to do-

then figure out which way you want to go about doing it- you DO have choices though. First things first though: understand that if you decided to go to one of these schools that you don't pay any money to (but have to work a year for to pay back) it will be VERY DIFFICULT to succeed if you go in there with an attitude, or a always seeking a shortcut mentality.

you both are exactly right ... in my case, 17 yrs ago i started a trucking school, and it was only 1200.00 but it was for 12 weeks ... i did it, got through it ... 16 ppl started, 7 took the exam with DMV and 5 of us passed it one shot. the other 2 had to go back next week to re-take and back then the trucking school knew where the other 2 went wrong and allowed them to use the truck again free of charge and both passed it the following week.

short cuts are never an option. i have been doing this for almost 17 yrs and i still dont know and will never know everything there is to know, i do know shortcuts and not getting fully trained is something i never believed in....
