Possible death penalty case

They were already in a no-win scenario before they decided to come to the U.S.
As previously discussed elsewhere,most of the people being smuggled across the border nowadays are coming from El Salvador,Honduras & Guatemala-all three countries which have had to deal with political corruption and civil conflicts (civil wars,high crime rates and now MS-13 intimidating and threatening people).

I do encourage any and all who wish to improve their lives and give their children opportunities they can't get where they came from to immigrate.. However, we are a Republic not a Democracy. The difference is simple... the rule of law. Every pure democracy in the history of man has failed. Without the rule of law we will not survive. Legal immigration is complicated but possible. Do it right. Don't break the law on the way in, it shows a lack of respect for the law and we have enough people here already who don't respect the law.

 

Thought it was too revealing. Not sure I want people to know that much about me. LOL

 

Reminds of someone I knew a long long time ago, I went to court with him, the judge rolled out a 30 page book on the floor in front oh him of traffic violations, but.. because of a family members status in the community he was granted another chance to clean up his act.

if that were me, I would have been roasted, don't know what happened to him, it was obvious he knew he was on thin ice, we didn't talk about it at all after that and soon parted ways.

 

I didn't say it was right. Just true.
I walked into court once a long time ago facing a felony charge, a young lady that I had dated and was a good friend showed up and stood next to me in front of the judge when my name was called. All charges were dropped immediately. She was the judges daughter. Its a crooked world.

 

Ps. I didnt ask her to do it nor did I even know my judge was her father. It was a pleasant surprise.

 

Go to Bakersfield and ask 200 unemployed, white, healthy males and females in their 20's and 30's to come work in the agricultural fields nearby, for $15/hr and report back your findings.

I'm pretty sure exactly ZERO will take you up on your offer. At $25/hr? Maybe 3 or 4 will. My point is our society and culture has evolved to bring this problem upon ourselves. It's a self inflicted problem with origination roots all over the spectrum ranging from the entertainment media, to public education, and to the political system [essentially telling people if you don't get a college education, you must resign yourself to government assistance i.e. There's no future in "trades work"]

 

Are you suggesting that a constant source of cheap illegal labor may holding back technological advances in agricultural harvesting? Lol
