Ball is in the employee’s court. Ups and jB hunt are the biggest players who use the railyard. This can literally screw up commerce for a lot of people.

We use them quite a bit too, along with Schneider,Swift and FedEx. This could make a few companies switch over to UP to run their rail freight west or have them run by road because it gives the impression that things are not under control at BNSF.

Ups uses both already to the fullest lol. Also CSX. So this will screw up a lot.

And up is already threatening fuel/def supplier pilot with mandatory 50% volume cut if ceo is to be believed (pilot supplies roughly 10% of diesel and 30 % of def to trucks at point of sale)

So i dont know if up cares to pick up the slack

We've pulled a LOT off the rails. This will still hurt, but not as bad as you'd think.
