One of the slimiest, most crooked, underhanded, low life scum bag convention there is. Stay away from TQL if you ,now whats good for you. Of all the brokers I have dealt with I have never been left feeling like I need to take a shower after talking with them on the phone. STAY AWAY!!! They do not pay all their bills. If you are a small carrier it is just a matter of time before they decide not to pay you because they do not care if they loose your power and they know you wont do anything about it.

    #### you ONLY say that about TQL? I feel that way about all brokers. Sorry just lost a load for crossing out crap on a broker carrier agreement reguarding pay. Said in black and white clear as day I could NOT visit the customer to get paid (which is a legal right), I could NOT put a lean on anything of theirs to get paid, basically if they didn't want to pay me all I could do was file on their bond a lot of good that does when the bank won't even tell you the status of the bond without calling the company and even then the company represenative was the one that told me the bond was in good standing not the bank. Now WHY THE #### WOULD I BELIEVE A COMPANY REPRESENATIVE?!?! Ugh I don't think highly of freight brokers at all anymore since I'm working with shippers direct now 98% of the time.

For what a broker takes for pay and what they pay you as opposed to the costs to run a truck you need a 10 gallon pail of vasaline for every brokered load you haul because you're getting screwed hard the whole trip.

Just curious, as an independent, where and how do you get contracts to haul for shippers directly? I would love nothing more than to tell all the brokers to suck it. All the shippers I have called have said they do not do business with small fish like me. Only companies with lots of trucks. I haul flat bed btw.
