    Maybe manufacturers think all of our securement devices (even those for tarps) require a rating to make them legal?

    1/2 twist is fine so long as the tag is facing out (in Canada). Rub rail is a big no-no.

    What happens when the tag wears off?

    I had a Canadian driver tell me one time that you can't cover your straps with a tarp- meaning the straps must be exposed. Is this true?

    Not at all.

    If the tag showing the WLL is missing or illegible, the strap will need to be replaced.

    @Dye Guardian You jinxed me. Got an entry number, roll to the border. Port mismatch. And I had Port Huron on my paperwork, and I was at Port Huron. Frickin' Livingston.

    Livingston screwed me for 2.5 hours on Tuesday.... paperwork was filed Monday and they didn't finish it until Tuesday Afternoon.
