You would think it would be ok, but in that deal it wasn't. The boss kinda chewed on me a bit yesterday about it.
They are going to try and appeal the warning. Besides my score it effects their scores as well. He said we all have done it, but the out of service deal racks points. He runs a class outfit and we don't need the hit..
I agree with him

I got schooled this morning. Bought a height stick yesterday, thanks Riprap. Load it on the deck, let the air out of the tires. Drops it to 13'2". I was told to block it up, so it won't cut the tires. Block it up and we're at 13'4" according to height stick. Then get told to throw some air back in so the tubes don't get wrecked. Very slick way to it damage free.
I didn't know tractors had air brakes
And I'm loving tail chains. Quick and easy I like that. 3/8's so I'm legal in Canada and easily meets the aggregate.

Alot of the foreign built tractors have air brakes. That Belarus is Russian. Used to be quite a few around here. Most guys that had them give up on them because they leaked oil out of everything so bad.
That one you are hauling is an oddity for sure.KenworthGuyNH, SAR, PeteyFixAll and 5 others Thank this. -
I like the oddball tractors because it's interesting to see different ideas people had for building equipment. Scared to buy anything like that, tho. Parts could be a problem.
I forget how easy it is to go online now and find parts for just about anything, but many of you remember having equipment that you couldn't run because you just couldn't get the parts any longer.KenworthGuyNH, SAR, cnsper and 7 others Thank this. -
Speaking of oddball tractors...............
