The way some of these hotshots are registered, he's probably legal.
Legal doesn't mean safe though, that's too much weight in my opinion. -
I suspect the safety depends more on the brakes of the trailer than the truck itself.cke Thanks this.

I could license ours enough to be legal at that weight, but I really don't care for much over 15,000 pounds on our gooseneck trailer behind a one ton. That puts us @ 32,000ish and we are registered for 36,000, but could register for more.SAR and johndeere4020 Thank this.
