yeah, the towing guys. Went there last year when I got fed up with the steel company. Cut my commute way down and wasn't really planning to retire so soon but...things change...decided to enjoy life...they're good people, I can do a day or 2 if they need me

Nah, The masonry outfit has their own rig

This is a diagram of 2 loads they moved for us at the steel company. If you can zoom in... 168 ft overall, 15-6 high, 170,000 gross. These were arches for the 151st Street pedestrian bridge over the Henry Hudson Parkway. There were also 2 more arches that were only about 80 or 90' long that they moved on stretch flats. The long arch and short arch were field welded together on site. The different colors on the arch only represent the different sections of the box girder that were spliced together. I hauled the sections to be galvanized, then brought them back for assembly, then it was painted(all 1 color) IMG_1194.JPG

If this was like school... y’all doing some AP high school classes while I’m trying to color in the lines and not eat the glue.

Side note though this was the first time I washed this truck since I bought it in December. Didn’t know it even looked this nice, especially for a 1996. My load for the next couple days are valves. Around 6k a piece.

That first pic had me thinking you were hauling grain. Thought the van next to you was your trailer.

I miss that truck a little lol.

As for freight being slow, atleast you're not trying to teach someone who's your boss the in's & out's of how load boards, brokers and booking freight actually work, only to have them ignore me most of the time.
