I see now why the guy suggested to me to do it like that because you are indeed correct; for the rest they do go all the way through and I fed the chain as follows.

As for the UTV have no idea where to secure it at other than where I did

4 straps over the 4 tires.
For extra,2 straps thru the 2 big tubes at the front and back.
    That's one way.

I seen someone do that before and I didn’t know what to make of it lol since I’m at least a step above a Neanderthal I know a wheel is supposed to roll and all I pictured was those straps coming loose and bye bye; I’m not saying that’s possible nor disagreeing with your way, just looked odd to me at first

    Hard to explain in words.
    I'll give it a try but .................

Put you winch at the front off the tire.
Take the hook off the strap
Go over the tire (where the winch is) to the inner side off the tire.
So that 1/3 off the tire is above the strap.
    Down the other side.
Go behind the strap that is hanging where the winch is.
Hook the strap at the rear off the tire.
    Tighten strap.

It doesn't matter how you see it. Those of us that have hauled these machines know how the securement points are designed. On these Bobcats, you cannot run chain through those tie down points, it hooks just like he has it.

Ok this one wigged me out a bit. Had to drop regular wagon with beam load and all my edge protection to deliver another load. This was backhaul. 25 sheets and 1 skid for 45,500. Used my blankets to protect straps. Some sheets had milled edges sharp as a razor. Never got any more clicks out of anything other than two bright yellow bulkheadstraps.

Looks like a messy load, but I like what you did with it, sometimes you just gotta do what you can with what you got lol.

Heck I’ve literally pulled stuff out of dumpsters to use as edge protection when in a pinch, and I’m sure I’m not the only one here who has.
