I got my oldest boy to dumpster five for me. He gathered up some old tires and is cutting them up with a sawzall to make edge protectors. Having kids is great, kind of like having my own little army of indentured servantsFerrissWheel, PoleCrusher, Tug Toy and 6 others Thank this.

Sooo... I can say I am prepared for the worst TS toilet. The porta potty here has not been emptied and/or cleaned in over a month. It literally has worms crawling all through the fecal matter and out of the tank. I have to spray it down with disinfectant every time before I use it. It can be smelt from hundreds of yards away. @Dave_in_AZ meme of that one TS bathroom would be a pleasure compared to it LOL

I don't haul many machines, but the little track machine - I would have tried to put do it the same as the pic I did the hummer, but the problem I run into is not enough room for the binder in the short space when the tracks are out close to the edge. If I ended up running the chains like you did, the only thing I would add is some rubber or felt padding so the chain doesn't scratch the paint. I really appreciate your pics - I've learned a lot, like the bobcat chain hook thing I never knew.JonJon78, FerrissWheel, PoleCrusher and 5 others Thank this.

a simple way to "lasso" a tire is to use a 3/4 inch shackle and a 2 inch strap. Pass a loop of strap through the shackle and over the tire and down close to the middle. Hook the strap to the rail forward and back of the tire and tighten. 4 straps to a vehicle. A 5/16 chain and a ratchet binder will work instead of the strap. You can have loops sewn of 2 inch strapping to substitute for the shackle. A 30 inch piece of used strap sewn with a 6 inch overlap works well. that gives a 9 inch space between the anchors.FerrissWheel, PoleCrusher, Tug Toy and 6 others Thank this.
