I just about use my 2" ones daily but I find the 4" to be clunky and cumbersome.PoleCrusher, God prefers Diesels, Tug Toy and 1 other person Thank this.

+ Pyramid pipe loads usually require 2 to belly strap.PoleCrusher, God prefers Diesels, Tug Toy and 1 other person Thank this.

I've never heard of Ancra straps before. Pretty decent? Where did you purchase them from?PoleCrusher, God prefers Diesels, 4mer trucker and 2 others Thank this.

I have some Ancra straps, I think I bought them from Mutual Wheel. They seem to hold up well enough but the hooks are a little wide. They won’t go through stake pockets.JonJon78, PoleCrusher, God prefers Diesels and 2 others Thank this.

why do they need you then? lolTug Toy, Kyle G. and God prefers Diesels Thank this.

I'm pretty sure they're almost on par with Kinedyne, or a slight step below. I got them at an outfit about 30 miles from San Antonio. I got all my stuff there. 3/8 chains and Crosby boomers, edge protection, etc. It's a sling place that custom builds chain, slings and that kind of stuff. They pull test for certification too. It was in Lovett I think. I'd have to get the invoice.FerrissWheel, Tug Toy, cke and 2 others Thank this.

Cause I'm one bad mutha trucka. They know I can move across the country in a truck faster than they can in a effing aeroplane. That's right dude, I'm one serious hombre... come get you some!
Honestly, I have no idea but it's their dime and as long as they pay, we'll play.Deere hunter, FerrissWheel, JonJon78 and 11 others Thank this. -
It seems like you have to have a stake pocket to use those winches. I often use the four-inch hand ratchets attaching back to the strap to Choke a load. They also wouldn’t work in a quickdraw trailer, they would possibly hit the tarp kit. Most of the time I’m pulling a trailer that doesn’t have any stake pockets so obviously they would be useless. They wouldn’t work for wide loads either. This isn’t an issue for a person only pulls a flatbed or a step deck.FerrissWheel, God prefers Diesels, cke and 3 others Thank this.
