Going to make one the normal size and the other plus 10ft. That way I always have one long tarp to hopefully cover smaller loads with one tarp. Sounds good in theory....lol

That place isnt bad as long as there aren't a line of trucks ahead of you. I took a couple of loads like that to TX a couple months ago.

I've used those pocket winches almost every load since I bought them. They're like a shirt pocket......handy.

You can get them with flaps on both ends as well. Sounds dumb, but i can think of a bunch of loads i used to haul where a long tarp with flaps on both ends wouldve saved alot of time and effort and cuss words.

That does look like it would come in pretty handy... I might have to acquire a few. Does it have the same weight rating as a standard winch?

I don't know if it matters based on the brand, but they're Mytee. These pocket winches are rated at 5,400 but their sliding winches are rated at 5,500 for example.

Question, wouldn’t the pocket rating come into play also?

Good question... seems like it would have to. And I have no idea what my pockets are rated for. I was just talking to a co-worker about that the other day, we looked and looked but couldn’t find the rating stamped anywhere on the trailer.
